This Noble Sorceress is very excited because all of us at The Yellow Brick Road Project have determined that our 'niche" is as a Social Intervention Enterprise. We are currently looking into research grants and holding meetings with local community colleges as that is where the greatest need for our curriculum lies. Community Colleges have the lowest overall graduation rates with only 28% average. It is our mission to create a 18 month research project to implement the YBR Curriculum at 2-4 local colleges where we can recruit 50 students per school, through their administrative offices, students who are at risk to not graduate and would benefit from the social media, professional networking and mini internships of the YBR Project.
We are working to have our website up and running by the end of October. We have decided to utilize our YBRF.org (The Yellow Brick Road Foundation.org) in lieu of a wordpress blog.
